The estimate multiplies your remaining credits by each school’s published rate; the school notes below say what that rate covers. Known fee components are the mandatory charges we verified. — means no required fee amount is confirmed. No program here has a complete required-fee list we could verify, so no total is shown and these figures are not your full cost. Books, living costs, travel, and financial aid are not included, and future tuition increases are not modeled.

Fee units, residency eligibility, and placement conditions come from each school’s published terms:

Fort Hays State University: Credits are semester credits. 33 whole-degree credit hours published directly in the 2026-2027 catalog program summary (MBA Core 24, Concentration Core 9, Total Hours 33); the registrar calendars run on Fall/Spring semesters. The online MBA is published as fully online with no campus attendance requirement. The published per-credit table rate is used directly; program-specific fees are not fully verified, so this entry is not ranked by total cost.

Louisiana State University Shreveport: Credits are semester credits. The historical Baton Rouge listing URL now presents LSU Shreveport's online MBA in Finance; the record follows the presented program rather than the legacy price. The page publishes both the $484 per-credit rate and a $14,520 total cost with fees; the per-credit input uses the published per-credit rate without dividing the total. Course-specific fee schedules may vary by program, so total required fees are not confirmed and this entry is not ranked by total cost.

Touro University Worldwide: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: a 27-semester-credit core plus a 9-semester-credit concentration, so 36 semester credits with the finance concentration. The rate modelled is the university's published standard master's rate of $500 per credit - "The standard tuition rate for TUW master's programs is $500 per credit" - which also appears as the Master's column on the university's tuition page. The MBA page advertises a lower figure: "TUW's current tuition for the online MBA is $400 per semester credit after the program scholarship. At this rate, tuition for the 36-credit degree is $14,400." The 2026-2027 cost-of-attendance sample on the tuition page prints the same $14,400. A "Future Leaders Scholarship" is advertised on the finance concentration page. Because a scholarship is a condition this comparison cannot establish, the standard $500 rate is modelled and the scholarship figure is described here instead: if you receive it, 36 credits cost $14,400. Fees are published as an explicit list rather than a bundle: library, media, parking, student ID, student service and technology fees are each $0, with a one-time $200 degree audit and graduation fee and transaction charges (replacement diploma $20, transcript $10, returned check $40). The $60 application fee is waived for bachelor's and master's applicants. That supports a $0 per-credit fee line, but the schedule is not a certified exhaustive list for this programme, so coverage stays partial. Military, alumni and partnering-institution rates are published as conditional reductions and are not used here, and a 2.95% (3.00% from May 5, 2025) card-payment convenience fee applies only to that payment method. Delivery is fully online in eight-week courses, with no GMAT required and a bachelor's degree at a 2.5 GPA for admission. No transfer-credit ceiling is published on the pages read.

Bowling Green State University: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: "you must complete 21 credit hours of core courses and 9 credit hours of concentration courses", so the MBA is 30 credit hours with a 9-credit finance concentration. Two residency tiers are published in the same table: Ohio students at $615 per credit ($18,450 for the programme) and out-of-state students at $626 per credit ($18,780). Both are modelled so the calculator shows the rate that matches your state. Foundation work can add credits on top of the degree: "Students who lack prior academic preparation in Business Administration may need to complete up to 12 prerequisite credit hours in addition to the 30-credit hour MBA curriculum." Those credits are billed at the same per-credit rate, so a student without a business background should enter the number of foundation credits they are told they need. Fee scope is published only as a bundle: "All fees are included in the total tuition. Tuition and fees are subject to change. Books are sold separately." Because no exhaustive fee list is published, the per-credit fee line stays unconfirmed and coverage is partial. The page also publishes per-course figures ($1,845 Ohio, $1,878 out-of-state). Those are per-course charges for a three-credit course and are not averaged into the per-credit rate. Admission needs a bachelor's degree with a 2.75 GPA, three professional references, no GMAT and no application fee. No transfer-credit ceiling is published on this page.

Southern New Hampshire University: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: "Your entire MBA degree consists of 10 courses (30 credit" hours - 7 graduate MBA courses (21 credits) plus 3 concentration courses (9 credits) for the finance concentration. The page's own cost table prices the degree it describes: online graduate degrees and certificates cost $659 per credit, $1,977 per course and $19,770 for a 30-credit degree. The same table publishes an active-duty military rate of $470 per credit. That is an eligibility condition this comparison does not apply, so the standard $659 rate is the one modelled. Transfer ceiling is unusually low and is modelled: "For this degree, SNHU allows you to transfer in up to 6 credits, requiring a minimum of 24 credit" hours to be taken at SNHU. The page does not state a campus-attendance or residency requirement; the degree is described as an online program with 10-course coursework. Ask SNHU for its current one-time charges, such as any graduation or conferral fee.

University of Saint Mary: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: the programme is a "33-credit hour MBA" built from an eight-course core plus a concentration; the finance concentration is three courses chosen from four. The tuition schedule publishes one online graduate MBA rate - $608 per credit hour - and states that "Student tuition is based on a student's classification, not necessarily on the location of the student and not on the delivery of an individual course", so a USM classification applies wherever you live. Fees have different billing units and are not averaged into the rate: a $30 Student Success Fee per semester, $5 to $600 in individual course fees, a one-time $200 graduation fee, and a $25 online application fee. Because the course-fee list is a range and no exhaustive mandatory-fee list is published, the per-credit fee line stays unconfirmed and coverage is partial. Transfer: "Upon approval, you may transfer up to nine credit hours of comparable coursework from another graduate or professional degree program." Approval is the condition, so the ceiling is a maximum rather than a guarantee. Delivery is described as "8-week courses held 100% online", with six start terms a year and no GMAT required. The tuition schedule itself warns that the total "may vary depending on your prior academic history, coursework being transferred in, or additional coursework needed to complete your program", which is why the calculator asks how many credits you still need.

University of Maryland Global Campus: Credits are semester credits. Finance is a 9-credit specialization of three elective courses within the 30-credit MBA, not a separate finance degree. Specializations do not appear on transcripts; completers may be eligible for a digital badge, and students may mix and match electives instead. All MBA courses are published as available online; some hybrid sections also exist. Up to 12 transfer credits may apply; confirm applicability with an advisor before assuming a lower cost. The reduced military rate is not modeled because the calculator cannot determine military eligibility. The published fee table exempts specialty graduate programs such as the MBA from the $15 per-credit technology fee, so no per-credit fee is modeled; the $50 application context and other charges are unverified, so this entry is not ranked by total cost.

Ball State University: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: the program page prints "Major Credits: 30 to 39" and "Total Credits - You have a business degree—30 - You do not have a business degree—up to 39 (depends on how many foundation courses you need and which concentration you choose)". The 30-credit version is modelled because it is the figure the university publishes for a student who already has equivalent business coursework; foundation courses are the added-cost condition. Two residency tiers are published for online graduate students on the 2026-2027 schedule: Indiana residents pay $464 per credit and out-of-state students $696 per credit. Finance is one of seven concentrations and the MBA has no residency requirement - "We don't have a residency requirement, so you never have to come to campus." Fees: the online course fee is assessed per credit ($25 per credit) and is included in the mandatory fee line; the technology fee is charged per semester (less than 7 credits: $100; 7 or more: $150) and is disclosed rather than averaged. Ball State also warns "A few of our programs also have additional course or program fees, and this estimate does not include textbook or other course material charges", so coverage stays partial. A credit or debit card payment adds 2.85 percent; students who take any main-campus course in a semester pay main-campus fees for that semester. The program page's "less than $17,000 tuition cost" is a marketing comparison, not a per-credit rate, and is not used here; the university's own worked example describes an Indiana resident at six credits per semester paying "about $17,000 for the degree", which depends on pace and credits taken. No transfer-credit ceiling is published on the pages read.

Bellevue University: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: the program summary prints "$680 per credit hour. 36 total credit hours." and the requirements line prints "Requirements (36-39 credit hours - At least 30 graduate credit hours must be taken at Bellevue University)" as "MBA Core Requirements (27 credit hours) + Concentration (9-12 credit hours)". The Finance Concentration takes the 9-credit version: "You must select a minimum of 9 credit hours from the following", so the finance path is modelled at 36 semester credits; the 39-credit end of the published range belongs to the 12-credit concentrations (for example Healthcare). At least 30 of the 36 graduate credit hours must be taken at Bellevue University. The MBA pages read publish no other transfer ceiling, and Prior Learning Assessment credit for documented work, certifications or previous training is described as possible - so no transfer limit is recorded here. MBA 500, 520 and 641 "may be waived under certain conditions" and the page does not publish those conditions; a student who cannot waive them takes them inside the 27-credit core rather than on top of it. Graduate fees are listed for 2026/2027: a $75 application fee (waived for alumni), a $300 General College Fee each term, a $175 Course Materials Fee for traditional/cohort sections, a $100 graduation fee and transaction charges. The $300-per-term General College Fee is the material recurring charge and cannot be spread across credits without knowing the number of terms, so the per-credit fee line is left unnumbered and coverage stays partial. "Additional fees may apply for individual courses." Delivery: "100% online learning. Earn your degree on your schedule." The MBA is also offered on campus; this row describes the online route. Military preferred pricing on the tuition page is scoped to undergraduate, certificate and certificate-of-completion programs, so it is not a graduate rate and is not modelled.

University of St. Francis: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: the program page prints "Credit Hours 30" and notes the MBA "was recently revised to be a 30 credit-hour program (previously 36)". Finance is one of the eight concentrations listed. Delivery is published as "Online, Blended": the page title reads "Master of Business Administration (Online & Hybrid)", so the online route exists and the blended option adds campus sessions. The rate modelled is the MBA credit-hour rate on the tuition table for 2026-27; the same $820 also appears in the 2027-28 column, and an alumni discount of 20% is advertised for qualified alums but is a condition this comparison does not apply. Fees: a $125 Technology Fee is charged to graduate and doctoral students each semester, a $150 graduation application fee is charged per degree, and there are $100 tuition deposit, $120 late payment and $40 payment plan lines. The per-semester technology fee cannot be converted to a per-credit figure without a term count, so the fee line stays unnumbered and coverage is partial. The program page states transfer credit is accepted but publishes no ceiling; the page also links a program-availability-by-state list that should be checked for a student's location. Admission requires no GMAT, and classes run in eight-week cycles with six entry points a year.

Franklin University: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: the program page prints "36 Credit Hours" and 100% online delivery. The curriculum is taught in 4-credit courses, and the page's own total of "$24,840 Total Tuition (After Partner Discount)" equals 36 x $690, the standard master's rate. The rate modelled is the standard master's rate on the 2026-2027 tuition page; "Current service members" pay $536 per credit hour and that condition is not applied here. Foundation cost condition: "Master's Prerequisite Courses (500 level)" are published at $398 per credit hour on the same 2026-2027 page, and the MBA page lists MGMT 707 - MBA Foundations (4) inside the required course list, so whether extra prerequisite credits are needed depends on prior coursework. Fees for 2026-2027: a $30 application fee and an $85 graduation application fee are the one-time charges; a $100 Resource fee is charged each semester and an Identity Verification Fee of $25 applies "if applicable". Because the number of semesters is not known, the per-credit fee line stays unnumbered and coverage is partial. A Tuition Guarantee locks the first-term rate for up to three years for a master's degree, and the page states 12-month completion for a student taking two classes at a time. The program page carries a "See state availability" link and notes that in some locations the program is offered through select employer partnerships; confirm availability where you live. IACBE-accredited business programs, no GMAT/GRE required, and the finance specialization requires six-week simulation and equity analyst project work rather than an in-person residency.

University of Wisconsin-Whitewater: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: the program page states "The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a 36 credit program", and the graduate catalog's degree requirements read "A minimum of 36 graduate units (credits) which may include a thesis of up to 6 units" with the course list totalling 36 units: a 0-3 unit Common Body of Knowledge line, required breadth and elective courses, and a 9-credit emphasis. Finance is one of the thirteen emphases. Rate conflict, disclosed rather than hidden: the current published schedule and the program page both print $722 per credit for online graduate business coursework in 2026-27 and both say it does not vary by residency, while the online catalog's "College of Business Online Course Fees" section still prints "$708.00 per unit (credit)" for the same 2026-27 year. The catalog itself says its figures are "those in effect at the time this Catalog was prepared" and sends readers to the Student Accounts tuition and fee page for current rates, which is where the $722 schedule sits, so the higher, current figure is modelled and the $708 figure is recorded as an open check rather than being averaged away. The program page warns "Additional fees and non-resident tuition may apply to other courses", and the catalog lists per-unit distance education fees and segregated fees, so the per-credit fee line is left unnumbered and coverage is partial. No transfer-credit ceiling is published on the pages read; admission can be earned through work experience, prior degrees or test scores, and "Additional graduate courses will be required of those individuals not having sufficient preparation" in the Common Body of Knowledge, which can add cost on top of the 36 units. Delivery is asynchronous online - "Asynchronous program lets you learn day or night" - and the MBA is AACSB accredited.

Concordia University Wisconsin: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: the program page prints "CREDITS 36" and "COST PER CREDIT $730". The same page calls the credential "Concordia's MBA with a concentration in finance". The online rate is the same published rate as the classroom route: the graduate tuition page lists one MBA figure under the Batterman School of Business with no delivery split, and the program page says you can "earn your MBA in Finance online or face-to-face". Fees: the tuition page shows a Consolidated Graduate Fee of $76 per semester with the note that the traditional graduate programs fee varies per program, plus a $100 parking permit and a $10 transcript request. A per-credit fee figure is not published for the MBA, so the fee line is left unnumbered and coverage is partial. A graduate MBA certificate ("Mini-MBA") exists alongside the degree and is not priced here; it is a different credential. No transfer-credit ceiling is published on the program or tuition pages read. The program page advertises scholarships for adult and post-traditional learners without publishing amounts, so no reduction is modelled.

Regent University: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: "Total Credit Hours: 42" on the program page, with Finance & Investing as one of fourteen concentrations and the degree available online, on campus or in a hybrid format. The rate modelled is the online MBA rate on the 2026-27 table; the on-campus rate of $845 per credit hour is not used because this row describes the online route, and the page publishes the same $695 for part-time and full-time online students. Fees: the same table lists a University Services Fee for online students of $750 per semester. It is a per-term charge, so the per-credit fee line stays unnumbered and coverage is partial. Transfer: "allowing you to transfer up to 49% of a graduate degree", which is about 20 of the 42 credits. The degree runs in eight-week courses, with full-time students taking two courses per session and part-time students one; the page lists 2026-27 session check-in dates and states "*Rates are subject to change at any time." No GMAT or GRE is required, and the MBA is ACBSP accredited.

Liberty University: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: the program page prints "45 Credit Hours" for the MBA - Finance, 100% online in 8-week courses. That is a longer degree than most MBA rows on this page, so the credit total is the main practical difference to compare. The catalog also publishes a lower full-time graduate rate of $600 per credit for 9 or more credit hours in a term; it is described here as a condition rather than modelled, because enrollment load is not an input the comparison can establish. Two published graduate rates are tied to enrollment load: the catalog defines "Part-time if taking 8 hours or less in a graduate program", so 9 or more credit hours in a term is charged at the full-time rate. The program page and the catalog agree on $600 full-time and $665 part-time for the standard master's programs. This entry models only the higher part-time figure; the full-time figure is described here as a condition because enrollment load is not an input the comparison can establish. Transfer: "Transfer in up to 50% of the degree total" - about 22 of the 45 credits - and admission can be earned through prior graduate work. Added-cost conditions: applicants missing business subject areas "may be required to take BMAL 590", and the finance cognate lists three undergraduate prerequisites (ACCT 211, ACCT 212, BUSI 320) that "can be taken after admission into the program". Fees for 2026-2027: the catalog's online fee list prints a $349 Technology Fee per term, an Inclusive Access Fee of $38 per hour, a $100 Degree Completion Application Fee and a $50 one-time graduate application fee, while the MBA page states "There is no application fee to apply to Liberty University" and the catalog's residential section notes the application fee is no longer applied to accounts as of mid-September 2026. Because that conflict is unresolved, the one-time figure here carries only the degree completion fee and coverage stays partial. The Military Graduate rate of $310 per credit hour is a condition this comparison does not apply, and Liberty itself states the 45-credit MBA in Finance is a different credential from its M.S. in Finance.

Azusa Pacific University: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: "Program Units: 42", and the page publishes the same arithmetic this row uses - "Cost per Unit: $720" and "Base Cost: $30,240" - which is 42 units at the published rate. Finance is one of ten concentrations, and the same curriculum is offered "fully online or on campus"; the tuition page states that for 2026-27 "tuition and fees are established regardless of instruction mode". Fees: a $45 nonrefundable application fee and a $100 graduation fee are the published one-time charges. Parking on the Azusa campus is listed as TBD and applies only if a student attends there; no per-credit or per-term graduate fee is published. Added-cost condition: "Conditional admits (those with a GPA below 3.0) may need to complete up to five prerequisite courses", which the page does not price. The page advertises a one-time $1,000 Fall II scholarship for new students who start in the session beginning October 19 and enrol in at least 3 units; a scholarship is a condition and is not applied to the rate. No transfer-credit ceiling is published on the pages read, and the MBA runs in eight-week sessions with six entry points a year.

Texas A&M International University: Credits are semester credits. 30 whole-degree credit hours: 21 core plus 9 finance elective credit hours. Students without a BBA from an accredited university are required to take prep-module courses as determined by advisors: up to three 2-credit modules billed at $734.00 each. No waiver is assumed; this possible added cost is not modeled because the controls cannot determine undergraduate background. The page states all fees are included in tuition, but no exhaustive fee schedule with exceptions was verified, so this entry is not ranked by total cost.

Johnson & Wales University: Credits are semester credits. Whole degree: the catalog's MBA - Finance Concentration plan lists "Total Credits 42.0" - six foundation credits, twenty-one core credits, twelve finance/concentration credits and a three-credit capstone. The online program page describes the same degree as a two-year, online program with seven- or fifteen-week courses. The rate modelled is the university's online graduate rate for 2026-27, printed both on the program page ($842 per credit hour, $2,526 per three-credit course) and in the online catalog's tuition schedule. Foundation cost condition: BUSN5000 Business Fundamentals and BUSN5010 Quantitative Methods in Business are inside the 42 credits and "your prior coursework will be evaluated to determine the ability to waive out of these two courses. If you need to complete one or both of the foundation courses, you may take these courses as part of your program or test out of these courses via exam." Whether they can be waived changes the time, not the credit count. Fees: the catalog's online tuition schedule carries a fee column but lists no fee for online graduate students, and the application is free: "They cap it off with a free application and no GRE or GMAT requirements." No mandatory fee schedule is published, so coverage is partial. No transfer-credit ceiling is published on the program, catalog or tuition pages read. A 20% Graduate Success Scholarship and other scholarships are advertised as conditions and are not applied to the rate.

How the programs compare

These 18 online MBA programs publish a whole-degree credit count, delivery terms and a per-credit rate, checked against official school pages on October 14, 2026. Required fees are only partly published, so no entry shows a total cost. FHSU and UMGC are MBAs with a finance concentration or specialization.

More schools to consider

Webster University’s online MBA with a Corporate Finance emphasis prices its online courses at $800 per credit hour for 2026-2027, but publishes the degree as 36 to 42 credit hours and says the total “will vary depending on the area of emphasis.” That is a range, not a fixed length, so it is described here instead of priced in the table. If you pursue it, ask Webster for the Corporate Finance plan’s exact course list first and budget at $800 per credit between 36 and 42 hours. The same page advertises an $800 first-course tuition waiver and a waived application fee for October, January and March starts - a condition, not a standing rate, so ask whether it applies to your start term. Ask for the fee list and any scholarship in writing.

Questions to ask before you apply

  • Texas residency sets the TAMIU rate. Non-residents pay the higher published rate. If you do not hold an accredited BBA, add the prep modules to the TAMIU cost.
  • Military rates are not applied. UMGC publishes a lower military rate, and no military, employer or grant discount is applied automatically here.
  • Get a fee list in writing. Ask each school for its required fees and an evaluation of your previous credits.
  • Check availability where you live, and confirm GMAT or waiver terms directly with the school.
  • Confirm the credential. A finance concentration or specialization differs from a dedicated master’s in finance.

Check any quoted cost against the school’s official program and tuition pages.
